PINOT NOIR

2008 Santa Julia - $7.00/26.00 (G/B)
Bright red ruby color of medium intensity. Intense aromas of fruits like plums, cherries, raspberries with very well in- tegrated notes of tobacco, vanilla, and chocolate, due to its barrel ageing. Elegant in the palate, medium structure, well balanced and long finish.

2006 Hartford Court Sonoma Coast - $60.00 (B)
Complex aromas of ripe cherries, violets and cedar are followed by flavors of perfectly ripe, firm black cherries and mixed red and black berries. Allspice and coffee notes complement a long, multi-faceted finish in this "True Sonoma Coast" Pinot Noir.

2005 Robert Mondavi Napa - $7.00/22.00 (G/B)
Explosive nose of blackberry, Bing cherry and spicy black pepper. Firm yet supple tannins support ripe red-cherry fruit and soft oak. Engagingly bright, youthful and vivacious. Definitely a crowd pleaser!

2005 Kendall-Jackson California - $10.00/38.00 (G/B)
Black cherry fruit with velvety tannins typically found in hillside grapes along the North Coast combine with flavors of blackberry jam and currant from Monterey County. Oak aging adds hints of vanilla, cola and a soft, smoky finish.

2007 La Crema Monterey - $11.00/39.00 (G/B)
Aromas of ripe cherry, cocoa, anise and rich baking spices. Plush flavors of cherry, plum and pomegranate meld with hints of delicate tea leaf. Structured, balanced acidity and elegant, firm tannins round out the mouth.

2007 Cambria "Julia's" Santa Barbara - $13.00/50.00 (G/B)
Aromatic and velvety Julia's Pinot Noir, named for owner Barbara Banke's younger daughter, is a signature wine of this great estate, and a very typical Pinot for this widely applauded zone.

2005 Coppola "Director's Cut" California - $15.00/58.00 (G/B)
Grown in the Sonoma Coast region, the methods we use for crafting Pinot Noir include early morning crush and a cold soak period to stabilize color. Open-top fermentation helps us achieve a plush, silky texture, which accentuates the tantalizing flavors of crushed cranberries, cherry, strawberry, allspice, clove and vanilla. The 2007 Pinot Noir shows rich, seductive flavors and a velvety texture. It offers pure impressions of strawberries, raspberries and cherries as well as a hint of lavender and fragrant notes of clove and sandalwood.
